The brief

Chrysochoidis — Prespa Pulses

The shop sold pulses alongside a wider range of traditional food products. Customers needed to find the right category, see product information and prices, and choose what they wanted to order.

The website needed to support the whole ordering process: product selection, quantities, a shopping cart, delivery details, and a clear record of the order for the shop and customer.

What Runnable delivered

From browsing products to sending an order to the shop.

01

Product catalog and categories

Products were organized by category, with individual pages for photos, descriptions, prices, and quantity selection.

02

Shopping cart and checkout

Customers could review their selected products, adjust quantities, and enter their contact and delivery details before submitting an order.

03

Order records and emails

The system recorded the order and sent its details to the shop and customer, keeping the products, quantities, and delivery information together.

The ordering process

Delivery and payment details were part of the same order.

Checkout collected contact details, a delivery address, and any notes for the shop. Customers could choose bank deposit or cash on delivery; the website did not require an online card payment.

How we organized the project

An online store for a traditional-food shop in Florina, Greece, with product categories, a shopping cart, checkout, and order emails.

  1. 01

    Products grouped by category

Categories helped customers browse the range without searching through one long product list.

  2. 02

    Quantities stayed visible

Customers could select quantities and review their products and order total in the cart before checkout.

  3. 03

    Payment options matched the shop

Bank deposit and cash on delivery supported online ordering without adding a card-payment step.

The takeaway

An online store should make ordering clear for both the customer and the shop.

A product catalog is only the beginning. Customers also need to understand what they have selected, how much it costs, and what information is needed to complete the order.

Bringing products, quantities, delivery details, and payment preferences together gives the shop the information it needs to handle the order.
